A traditional gaff cutter, said to have been built in France in the 1880s. Later used in Cornwall as a half-decked fishing boat until the 1940s, when converted to a two-berth yacht. Extensively renovated circa 1990. Regularly sailed since on East Coast rivers. Constructed of wych elm on oak. Full suit of sails, including topsail on Cornish yard. Recently fitted with reconditioned Yanmar 10 engine.

Reconditioned Yanmar 10 Diesel, fitted 2010. New Stainless steel fuel tank fitted 2016.
Single hull elm on oak ribs. Straight stem, counter stern, bowsprit. Cabin heavy marine ply. Deck planking covered with terylene canvas during 1990s refit. Shallow long keel and lifting keel. Pig iron ballast.
Two berths. Galley space (for meths or gas cooker) Folding tables on either side keel case. Storage lockers. Roomy foc'sle and counter storage.
Silva hand-held VHF, 2 man Rubber Dinghy and paddles, 2 anchors (CQR, Fishermans) cables and warps. Radar reflector, manual and submersed electric bilge pumps, Masthead navigation lights.
Douglas fir and spruce spars. 2 jibs, staysail and topsail on Cornish yard - all terylene in good condition. Mainsail heavy terylene canvas - re-roped and patched 2017, but will need replacement soon. Spare, hardly used heavy weight jib and staysail in same terylene canvas.
