Description

Gunter rigged yawl sailing boat with road trailer. I built this boat myself in 2009 to a very high standard using marine grade plywood from Robbins Timber and West System epoxy. The bottom and lowest plank are covered in 2 layers of glass cloth set in epoxy. The pivoting centreboard is lead weighted and covered in 2 layers of glass cloth, as is the rudder. The spars are Aluminium. The keel has a 3mm stainless steel rub band. Everything is very well built.The sails were made by Rowsell Sails. The trailer was bought new from DeGraaf. I have trailer sailed to locations in England, Scotland and France, but it has not been used since 2010. It has been stored in a garage, I moved on to a bigger boat and could not bring myself to sell it! The boat is in very good condition, inevitably there are a few scuffs here and there. Equipment includes anchor and warp, fenders, mooring lines. The compass and bracket were removed for another boat, so are not included. The trailer has a spare wheel and lightboard. It is a fun boat to sail and haul up on the beach for a swim. The outboard shown in the photo is not included.
