Built in 1939 and with the benefit of a recent refurbishment, this characterful tug has been very well converted.
The ideal weekend boat or she would be equally at home on the upper reaches of a river or coastal with her heavy displacement .
This little tug has a unique history having been plying her trade in the Amsterdam Harbour itself. Her deck fittings and towing equipment are still intact and whilst she has been converted for residential use, her provenance is still very apparent.
These little ships have a following and in the Netherlands and Baltic, many of these converted tu... read more
This beautifully finished 65ft Replica Dutch Barge live aboard offers spacious accommodation and is fitted out to the highest standard. With two double bedrooms (one currently accommodating a bunk bed), a bathroom that would not look out of place in a house and a well-appointed kitchen with butler sink and self-closing cupboards, she is a very comfortable place to while away the hours.
Always destined to be a live aboard she does not have an engine (one less thing to have to maintain). She is heated by a conventional domestic boiler and central heating system supplied by a roof mounted bonded... read more
I have always had a real soft spot for fast fishers and in my opinion this quicksilver 650 is a great starter to the world of fishing boats. designed to be a little weekender boat with 2 double berths with the forehead berth being a little bit cramped but still a comfy enough sleeping area.
This does need a little bit of a spruce up, mainly general cleaning is needed however once cleaned up this could be a brilliant little boat which- although it doesn't come with one - can be easily trailed if you wanted a change of scenery.
Fast fishers are in demand right now and this will not be any... read more
The Folkboat is known around the world, born from a design competition in Sweden, the final plans were put together by Tord Sunden in 1942 and the result was a small but immensely capable boat that became hugely popular not only in Scandinavia but across the world.
Originally built using clinker construction, the design evolved with some 4000 derivatives appearing all over the world, Latterly GRP versions appeared such as this particular boat, which was built by the renowned yard of Folkebad Centralen in Denmark
This boat is authentic to the original Nordic Folkboat. Her lines and d... read more
The Fulmar 32 was the first boat designed by Ed Dubois for Westerly. Quicker and sportier than the previous Westerly 30 and 31, the Fulmar quickly built a reputation for being a first-class heavy weather boat.
Despite the extra performance, the Fulmar also offered more accommodation than the 31-footers that it effectively replaced, notably in the fore cabin and heads areas. The saloon also benefitted from the new boat’s significantly wider beam. More than 400 Fulmars were built, with both fin and twin keels.
This twin keel variant has had the benefit of being in the same ownership for... read more
Ok not a boat but still a boat!
This is going to be one of the most unusual listings you will see at any brokerage.
This is the un-required mid section of a new steel boat that was constructed in 2015 and launched in 2018. it was then removed from the boat and turned into what can be classed as either a floating home, or a glamping pod, or house boat. It boasts three levels and a couple of balconies.
The lower level is given over to two good sized rooms which could make a two bedroom basement with heads / shower compartment. The heads compartment is complete with shower and toilet ha... read more
Here we have a "real boat"!
This 28M steel tug is a complete, seaworthy package and has many years of commercial service left in her or would make an ideal and very different "stand-out" livaboard project. This boat is in full working order and has a presence that has to be experienced.
The boat drives and runs as it should according to the owner, and she can be delivered by the current owner anywhere in the world at cost. This "Dog class tug" was designed by the MOD and built by Appledore Devon in 1966. She has 5 cabins on two decks with bunks and facilities for 7 crew. Up top is a full... read more
This charming characterful Motor Launch has been in the same ownership since 2009. Work has been ongoing and maintenance carried out regardless of expense.
