'Humdinger' is described in her most recent survey report as 'having been lightly used and maintained to a high standard and for that reason remains in remarkably good condition from both a cosmetic and structural point of view.'
H-boats were designed and built in Finland in 1967 by Hans Groop, with modifications by Paul Elvstrom added in 1971. They were constructed to a very high standard, and quickly became a successful international class, of which over 5000 have been built.
This particular boat was brought to the UK in 2015, and since then has had new sails made in 2018 by One Sails in Levington. She has an enviable track-record of racing success. For Covid reasons the boat has not been sailed or raced since the end of the 2019 season. An IRC handicap certificate was issued in 2019.
The light and airy cabin has comfortable berths for four adults, and a spacious, self-draining cockpit for helm and crew.
This boat has an enviable racing track record - it is not just a good looking boat, it's fast too!
'Humdinger' comes on a galvanised 4-wheel, braked trailer, complete with lightboard and spare wheel, all in excellent condition, including purpose-built brackets for the mast when in transit.
